teaches Polymeter: loops of different lengths line up only on common multiples of their lengths.
A 1977 turntable with loops of different lengths spinning as rings, each with a notch on its beat one. Tap on the beat to drop the next loop. A drop scores for timing, and much more when it lands on the beat one of loops that are already playing; land on all of them and you are on the one. Rings of 3, 4, 5 and 7 beats only line up every so often, so you count ahead and wait for the right beat. Later sets get faster, drop the hints, and remix a loop's length partway through. Three sloppy drops and the dancers go home.
