Regrow

Axo has to carry glowing eggs across a tide pool to the nursery before the tide goes out, past crabs on patrol and a heron's shadow. The one trick: drop a leg. It wriggles, and every hunter nearby goes for it while you get away. Legs grow back one at a time, the tail last, but every missing leg makes you slower. Later the heron hunts, the tide shrinks the pool, and the crabs stop falling for old legs. Caught three times, or the tide goes out, and the run is over.
