teaches Designing experiments: forming a hypothesis and choosing the test that rules the most out
A lab machine accepts some crystals and rejects others, and the rule is hidden. You start with four sorted examples. Build any crystal you like (shape, color, size, facets), feed it in, and watch the light. Every experiment costs, so pick the one that splits your theories. When you are sure, take the exam: six crystals to sort. Rules grow from one trait to combinations, parity, comparisons, and exactly-one-of.
